Another early start for us today. We got up well before 4:00 am to catch our 6:00 am flight home (5:40 am boarding time). We exited the hotel lobby and admired the native inspired decor for one last time before taking the 20 minute drive to the airport to end our journey in New Mexico.

New Mexico is highly underrated as a travel destination. We felt like we barely scratched the surface in our four day visit. We did not get a chance to visit Taos, the Chaco Canyon, and Southern New Mexico (Trinity test site, White Sands National Park, Las Cruces etc). We also did not sample the museums in detail in Santa Fe either. In time, we may find our way back to New Mexico again.
