New Mexico Day 4 - High Up in Albuquerque

We will be taking part in our "mystery excursion" this morning. Based on our excursion supplier, we have to be at our meeting spot - Garcia's Restaurant by 6:15 am so it's another early morning for us.

We arrived at Garcia's just around 6:00 am. When we got there, our excursion supplier - World Ballon was already hard at work.

We found World Balloon on line and they had availability that day so we decided to take our chances on our first ever hot air balloon ride. It was a calm morning with almost no wind and the visibility was great as well so we were in for a great day of flight.

After our safe landing and a short ride back to Garcia's Restaurant from our landing site, we were tired and ready for some coffee. After picking up some coffee at Dutch Bros and locally baked goods at Celinas Biscochitos and some blue corn pancakes at Central Grill and Coffee House, we headed back to our hotel to enjoy the amenity for the rest of the day.

After a bit of pool and fitness center time, we headed out in the later afternoon to explore old town Albuquerque a bit. We ended out day on the roof top bar of our hotel Level 5 to catch the sunset and headed back to Sawmill Market across the street to pig out until the closing hours.
