Iceland Day 10 - Full day Reykjavik (July 4th, 2017)

We'll be spending the 4th of July in the city vicinity of Reykjavik today. We'll explore the city on foot. We will also be taking a shuttle to the over-instagrammed Blue Lagoon for a short day trip. We started our day at usual breakfast buffet at the Scandinavian Restaurant and Bar. Kids enjoyed bread and jam as usual. After breakfast, Joanne found a must visit bakery - Braud & Co within a 5 minute walk from Hotel Fron. It is known for cinnamon rolls. We enjoyed our second breakfast and finally was ready to head out to the Blue Lagoon mid morning.

After completing our bath, we washed off at the locker and changed back to our street clothes. At this point, everyone was pretty hungry so we decided to have our lunch at the restaurant at the Blue Lagoon - Lava Restaurant.

After taking a short break at our hotel, we headed out again to explore the city. We would walk from our hotel's area of Laugavegur Street east to the National Museum of Iceland by the small lake of Tjornin in the center of the city.

After exploring the city, we headed to our favorite joint in the city for dinner - Saegreifinn. We ordered skewers and Appelsin to reminisce our time in Iceland. After dinner we strolled by the harbor got some ice cream at a small shop - Valdis before we called it a night.
