London State of Mind - Tower Bridge and the Tower of London (Friday November 29th, 2019)
After visiting the Borough Market, we walked from Borough Market towards the Tower Bridge along the Southbank of the River Thames. The weather had cleared from the rain the night before. We passed by the Christmas market and the London Bridge on the way to the Tower of London where we had purchased tickets in advance. It was a beautiful day to be out.
However, later that day we would be impacted by the attack incident on the London Bridge. We would be on lock down in the City of London for good part of the afternoon.
