Nepal Trip day 13 - Taipei to Los Angeles through Guangzhao (Friday January 4, 2019)

Today marks the end of our two week journey in Asia. We were sad that we had to end our exploration and vacation. However, Jo has managed to make the most out of the last few hours that we have in Taipei.

We started the day by eating breakfast bought by my brother in law from a popular Taiwan breakfast chain Mei er Mei (美而美) and the fruit that was purchased the night before.

We finished our breakfast at around 9:30 am. The plan for the next two hours would the following:

Walk to KaoChi, a dumpling restaurant rivaling Ding-Tai-Feng, for an early lunch. Then walk to a nearby shave ice place - Smoothie House for mango shaved ice. Then walk to Chung Shrai Tang, a milk tea place where boba milk tea was originated. This all must be done before our pick up at 11:30 am. We set out to accomplish these tasks shortly before 10:00 am.

After successfully making through the various spots within a two hour window, we got in our airport transportation and boarded out pm flight to Guangzhao. We were flying the A330 again on this leg.

After landing in Guangzhao, we headed to the CSAir lounge for the third time before we board the A380 to head home.

Due to tail wind, the flight going to back LAX was a lot quicker than the flight to Guangzhao. We enjoyed couple more meals, watched a movie or two and we were home.

This trip to Nepal was one of the most adventurous trips we have done as a family. We thoroughly enjoyed the nature, people, culture, and hospitality of Nepal. It provided great memories for us as a family. The trip to Taiwan was a bonus as well to see our family. We are looking forward to future adventures.
